Locations:

  • San Jose, California, US (Salary Range: $75k—$300k USD)
Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze regulatory requirements and industry standards to establish supplier requirements for BEV charging systems and electric powertrain systems, including battery, electric drive, DC-DC, and vehicle control systems.
  • Conduct benchmarking of state-of-the-art charging systems and electric powertrain systems within the industry.
  • Gather data and conduct analysis for endurance test vehicles, delivering detailed reports and actionable solutions.
  • Possess expertise in the technical requirements, operating principles, and control strategies within charging systems and electric powertrain systems, with the ability to independently perform power system testing.
  • Define and manage quality objectives, key characteristics, and control requirements for power system components, and propose specific input requirements.
  • Analyze industry trends and deliver reports or strategies supporting product development, marketing, customer service, and related initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in charging system and power system testing, combined with a solid understanding of supplier management processes.
  • Skilled in utilizing tools and software such as MATLAB, CANoe, and similar platforms, with expertise in creating detailed and comprehensive test reports.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Prior work experience with a major automotive OEM.
